UNA MIRA A LA FORMACIÓN DEL DOCENTE UNIVERSITARIO

RESUMEN
Este artículo de revisión se presenta como resultado de la investigación titulada: “Aportes de la Formación Investigativa de la Maestría en Docencia Universitaria de la Universidad de Nariño a las Instituciones Universitarias”; el objetivo es destacar la formación del docente universitario como un proceso permanente, de interés por parte de las Instituciones de Educación Superior (IES), además se considera un tema relevante en la formación profesional y un criterio de calidad de la educación. La metodología empleada fue la revisión documental sistemática, hacen parte una gran variedad de autores expertos en el tema objeto; donde la discusión toma forma en la importancia de la formación, actualización y en general la cualificación del profesor universitario hecho considerado fundamental para el reconocimiento institucional. Se destaca en la formación del docente universitario dos temas clave: la pedagogía para el desempeño profesional en el proceso enseñanza aprendizaje requerido en la formación de los profesionales y la función sustantiva de investigación, mediante la cual es posible que el docente sea partícipe en el proceso de creación y desarrollo del conocimiento; dos temas que posibilitan al docente cumplir con su responsabilidad de aportarle a la ciencia y transformar la realidad existente.

ABSTRACT
This review article presents results of a research project entitled: "Contributions of the Investigative Training Master in Higher Education at the University of Nariño at Institutions of Higher Education"; the aim is to emphasize the training of university teachers as an ongoing process of interest by the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) also considered a relevant topic in the vocational education and standard of quality of education. The methodology used was the systematic literature review, are part of a variety of expert authors in the subject; where discussion takes shape in the importance of training, updating and general qualifications of university professor fact considered essential for institutional recognition. Pedagogy for professional performance in the teaching-learning process the required professional training and substantive research function, in which the teacher may be a participant in the process, two key issues highlighted in the training of university teachers creation and development of knowledge; two issues that allow the teacher to fulfill their responsibility to give back to science and transform the existing reality.
