Abstract

 In this article, a writing is proposed based on the retrospective exhibition Ríos y silencios by the artist Juan Manuel Echavarría, who, from his unique narrative and his artistic style, exposes another way of thinking about the politics and poetics of the testimony of violence in Colombia, with the purpose of hearing the fragility of bodies exposed to excessive realities that occur or to the catastrophes that, although they seem impossible, are real.
