Abstract

This research seeks to analyze the need to reflect on an Education for Peace in rural education. The Armed Conflict in this country has contributed to the generation of many problems throughout the national territory. The Colombian Armed Conflict has developed for more than fifty years, with the education sector being an entity related to the problems raised by the aforementioned problem. Many of the problems brought about by the confrontation in Colombia have had a negative impact on the development of the educational process in many educational institutions in the country. Faced with such a situation, it is important to reflect on Education for Peace in rural educational institutions within the framework of the Colombian Armed Conflict.
