Sobre la revista
Organisational Systems is a journal focused on cybernetics and complex systems theories and methodologies to support the design and development of organisational systems, including business, societies, governments, cooperatives, communities and not-for profit organisations.
It was created by the Metaphorum Research Group Cooperative as a new approach to academic journals, intended to be more inclusive, and supporting a new generation of authors to become skilled in publishing new ideas and practices in organisational systems.
Metaphorum has been developing Stafford Beer’s legacy since he passed away in 2002 and has become a home for a global network of cyber-systemic researchers and practitioners applying and developing organisational cybernetics, in combination with other cyber-systemic approaches to design and manage organisational systems.
The journal aims to attract both experts and beginners in this field, and it will publish all articles free of charge, on an open access mode. All articles will be under a Creative Common license. Scientific, Conceptual, and Philosophical academic papers will also be welcomed - and will be peer reviewed in the traditional way. But we will offer novice writers and practitioners the opportunity of publishing with a mentor (and co-author), to support them in learning to become skilled academic writers.
