The body of knowledge that Marxist sociology can contribute to help present action plans to potential progressive governments as medium- or long-term political projects aimed at reforming or revolutionizing our societies, by understanding how the political cultures of our peoples are expressed.
But without forgetting that K. Marx proposed a critique of capitalism as a model of society—a tactical and strategic issue that progressive groups overlook when they assume control of a government, because their policies have been strengthening the capitalist system, and this is a political error that must be corrected, due to a lack of deep understanding of the “political culture” of our peoples.
