VARIACIONES ESTACIONALES DE ALGUNAS PROPIEDADES FISICAS DE DOS SUELOS DEL ALTIPLANO DE PASTO, NARIÑO, COLOMBIA

Abstract

En un suelo Tropept y un suelo Andept se estudió la variación estacional de las propiedades físicas mediante observaciones en muestra de suelo seca al aire y a la humedad de campo.

El secamiento al aire de la muestra del suelo afectó la retención de humedad aumentándola. Los efectos del secado se consideran de trascendencia en lo pertinente a la confiabilidad y exactitud del análisis y su magnitud parece estar asociada al régimen de precipitación pluvial previo el muestreo.

En el suelo Andept la precipitación pluvial incrementó en forma lineal la densidad aparente, causando así una caída en la capacidad de campo. Tanto en Andept como en Tropept las variaciones estacionales de las propiedades físicas fueron considerables. A un incremento en el volumen de precipitación pluvial correspondió un incremento en la humedad del suelo.

ABSTRACT

One es Tropept localized in the Obónuco Experimental Station in the Pasto Highland, and another the Andept, localized near Chachaguí village. In both places study physical properties of seasonal variations were fulfilled as result of monthly observations and laboratory determinations in dry sample in open air and in humid state condition.

The drying sample in open air affected moisture retention capacity increasing. Dryness effects were important dealing with reliable and analysis accuracy; In Adept soil, the rainfall increased bulk density in a lineal tendency causing a fall in the field capacity. In Adept I well as in Tropept soil, the seasonal variations of phisical properties were considerable.
