DETERMINACION DE LA INTERACCION DEL MINADOR Liriomiza huidrobrensÍs Blanchard. CON HONGOS DEL FOLLAJE EN CUATRO VARIEDADES DE CEBADA, EN EL ALTIPLANO DE PASTO, NARIÑO

Abstract

El presente trabajo se realizó con el objeto de determi­nar el efecto de la aplicación de un insecticida, un fungicida y su mezcla, sobre los daños que ocasiona el minador Liriomyza huidobrensis Blanchard en las variedades de cebada 124, Mochaca, Quibenras y V.17 en las etapas de macollamiento, embuchamiento, espigamiento y llenado de grano, así como los rendimientos en g/m2. También se aislaron, purificaron e identificaron hongos a partir de las lesiones causadas por el insecto, se inocularon bajo condiciones de insectario en plantas de cebada, variedad Mocháca, sanas y afectadas por el minador.

En las diferentes épocas de evaluación, el daño del insecto fue similar en las cuatro variedades, obteniéndose que el número de lesiones fue mayor en los subtratamientos testigo y fungicida en comparación con el insectici­da e insecticida más fungicida, notándose además un efecto supresivo del fungicida sobre el insecto. Los ataques de la plaga fueron más graves en la época de macollamiento.

Lo rendimiento fueron estadísticamente mayores en la va­riedad 124, con la aplicación del insecticida, y supera­ron las producciones obtenidas con los demás subtratamientos.  Sin embargo,  al  analizar cada una de las variedades se obtuvo que en la 124 Y Mochaca únicamente el insecticida permitió mayores rendimiento que el testigo, mientras que en V.17, con fungicidas obtuvieron los rendimientos más bajos con diferencias significativas respecto a insecticida, insecticida más fungicida y testigo. En Quinbenras, los rendimientos en los subtratamientos insecticida, insecticida más fungicida fueron superiores a los de lo» otros dos subtratamientos.

Se aislaron los hongos Helminthosporium sp., Fusarium sp. Bplcocum   sp., Nigrospora sp., y Alternaría sp., las lesiones del minador.Los tres primeros incrementaron el tamaño de las lesiones y el secamiento de las hojas, cuando se Inocularon en plantas afectadas inicialmente por el mina­dor, determinándose que la relación insecto-hongo es un proceso mecánico.

ABSTRACT

This study was carried out between April 84 and September 25, to determine the application effect of an insecticide, a fungicide and the mixture in the damage caused by the bove- Liriomyza huidobrensis Blanchard in the 124, Mochaca Quibenras and V. 17 barley varieties in the bunching, sausaging caring and filling of the grain and also the yield in g/m².

Both insects and fungi were insolated, purified and identified starting from the wounds and injuries caused by insects which were inoculated under insectarium contions with sound and bored Mochaca barley variety.

At a different stage the insect osmage evaluation was similar in the four varieties and the higher number of lesions was obtained from the pattern subtreatment and fungicide in comparison with the treatment insecticide and insecticide plus fungicide and also a sudden effect of the fungicide over the insecticide was observed.

Yield were major in the 124 barley variety with the applying of the insecticide overpassing the subtreatment yield, but when analysing each one of varieties the 24 and Mochaca barley varieties had higher yields over the write control. In the V. 17 barley variety the fungicide permited lower yileds with significant statistical differences respect with the insecticide, insecticide plus fungicide and control; in the Quinbenras barley variety subtreatments insecticide and insecticide plus fungicide were higher with respect to the other two subtreatments. 

Helminthosporium sp., Fusarium sp, Epicocum sp, Nigrospora sp. and Alternaria fungicide were isolated for the borer lesions; the first three increased in size the lesions and the wilting of the leaves when inoculated into affected plants by the bover.
