DETERMINACION DE LA TASA BASICA DE INFILTRACION EN ALGUNOS SUELOS DEL ALTIPLANO DE PASTO, NARIÑO

Abstract

En el trabajo realizado, se tuvo como objetivo la determinación de la velocidad de infiltración y de la infiltración acumulada, directamente en el campo por medio de los infiltrómetros, en 14 suelos del Altiplano de Pasto. Además se estudiaron algunas propiedades físicas que están relacionadas con la infiltración como la textura, porosidad, densidad aparente,materia orgánica y humedad. Según los datos promedios de infiltración, los suelos del Altiplano de Pasto no presentan problemas, excepto los suelos de Botana, los cuales presentan infiltración muy lenta.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this work has been the determination of the speed of infiltration and of the accumulated infiltration studied in the field by means of infiltrometers in 14 soils of the Pasto High-land. In addition certain physical properties were studied, which are related with infiltration such as, texture, porosity, bulk density, organic matter and wetness. According to the average results of infiltration, the soil of the Pasto High-land do not present infiltration problems except the soils of Botana which can be considered as being very slow.
