FERTILIZACIÓN FOLIAR CON MEA BOUTIQUE (Orín de cuy) EN EL CULTIVO DEL ROSAL (Rosa sp.) EN LA PROVINCIA DE PICHINCHA, REPÚBLICA DEL ECUADOR.

Abstract

El presente trabajo se realizó entre los meses de julio del 2005 y enero del 2006, en el Cantón Tabacundo, Provincia de Pichincha, República del Ecuador; situado a una altura de 2900m.s.n.m., bajo condiciones de invernadero. Se utilizó un diseño de Bloques Completos al Azar con seis tratamientos y cinco repeticiones, teniendo como objetivos evaluar en fertilización foliar 4 dosis de Mea Boutique (Orín de cuy en 5, 7.5, 10, y 12.5 cc/l), comparativamente con el fertilizante foliar comercial Fitoprón (1 cc/lt) y Nitrato de Potasio (1 g/lt), sobre la producción y la calidad de flor cortada de rosa variedad Charlotte y establecer la viabilidad económica de la fertilización foliar con el uso del orín de cuy. No se presentaron diferencias estadísticas significativas para ninguna de las variables evaluadas: largo de tallos, diámetro de tallo y botón, porcentaje de flor exportable y nacional, número de pétalos, productividad, días a floración y duración en florero. Económicamente el mejor tratamiento fue a base de Mea Boutique (Orín de cuy) 5cc/l con un ingreso neto parcial de 449.035,28 USD$/ha y un costo variable de 192,72USD$/ha/año.

ABSTRACT

This work was carried out between july 2005 and january 2006 at Tabacundo town Pichincha Ecuador; located to 2900 meter above sea level, under greenhouse conditions. A random complete block design was used with six treatments and 5 repetitions, stating as objectives to evaluated four doses of Mea Boutique (guinea pig's urine) in 5, 7.5, 10, and 12.5 cc/l) contrasting with a comercial foliar fertilizer Fitopron(1cc/l) and potassium nitrate (1 g/l) over the rose quality and production in Charlotte variety and to establish since on economical point to view the possibility of the foliar fertilization with the use of an organic product, respecting to the conventional foliar application.

In all the treatments there weren't meaningful statistical differences to any variable: stem length, stem and bud diameter, percentage of exportable and national flower, petal number, productivity, days to floration and length in vase. Economically the best treatment was based on Mea Boutique (guinea pig's urine) with a partial net income of USD$ 449.035,28 ha and a changeable cost of USD$ 192, 72 ha/year.
