EVALUACIÓN DEL VALOR NUTRICIONAL DEL BOTON DE ORO Tithonia diversifolia (Hemls) Gray BAJO ASOCIACIÓN CON ALI Alnus jorullensis H.B.K.

Abstract

La presente investigación se realizó en el Centro de Investigación agrobiológicas (CIAB), ubicada en la Granja Experimental Botana, municipio de Pasto. Se evaluó el valor nutritivo de Tithonia diversifolia (Hemis Gray bajo diferentes densidades de siembra en monocultivo y componente de un sistema silvopastoril con Aliso jorullensis H.B.K. El análisis de los resultados se hizo mediante un diseño de bloques completos al azar con seis tratamientos y tres repeticiones.

El mejor comportamiento lo presentó T4 (botón de oro: 0,50 x 1,0 m + aliso 1,0 X 1,0 m); teniendo en cuenta que con este tratamiento se obtiene la mayor producción proteínica por hectárea año (1.97,2 Kg) con buen aporte de minerales. La concentración foliar de nutrientes encontrada determina el potencial forrajero de la especie en el trópico alto.

ABSTRACT

This research was carried out in the Agro-Biological Research Center (CIAB), at the University of Nariño, Botana, municipality of Pasto. The nutritional value of"botón de oro" Tithonia diversifolia (Hemls) Gray was examined under different sowing densities: monoculture and as component of agroforestry system with also Alnus jorullenis H.B.K. Analysis of results was carried out using a complet block design, with six treatments and three replications. The best result was observed with T4 Tithonia diversifolia (Hemls) Gray: 0.5x1 m + Alnus jorullenis H.B.K: 1x1 m); considering that in this treatment, the highest production ha/yr, 1.972 kg/ha was obtained, with an adecuate amount of minerals. Concentrations of nutrient foliage determines the potential of the species for high tropical altitudes.
