POLINIZACION ENTOMOFILA DE LA UVILLA ( Physalis peruviana L.)

Abstract

De agosto de 2000 a septiembre de 2001, en el Centro de Investigación. Agrobiológicas (CIAB-BOTANA) de la Universidad de Nariño y ¡a Corporación Colombiana de Investigación Agropecuaria (CORPOICA-OBONUCO). ubicadas en el Municipio de Pasto {Nariño, Colombia) a 2820 msnm, con una temperatura media de 13°C y una precipitación media anual de 840 mm, J realizó el presente trabajo, con el objeto de identificar los polinizados entomófilos más eficientes de la uvilla (Physalis peruviana L).

Con base en el Aplario del CIAB-BOTANA se empleó un analisis melisopalinológico y palinológico para medir la incidencia de las abeja domésticas (Apis mellifera L) en la polinización de la uvilla y en campo se coleccionaron los principales polinizadores. Se encontró que una colmena tipo Langsthroth con una colonia de 2 kg de abejas domésticas son las más eficaces y eficientes polinizadoras por cada hectárea de uvilla.

ABSTRACT

This research project was carried out from August 2000 to September 2001, In the Agro-biological Research Center (CIAB-BOTANA) of the University of Nariño and the Colombian Corporation of Farming Research (CORPOICA-OBONUCO), situated in the Municipality of Pasto, Nariño, Colombia at an altitude of 2820 metres above sea level, with an average temperature of 13°C and an average annual rainfall of 840 mm. The purpose of the project was to identify the most efficient insect pollinators of Physalis peruviana L On the basis in of the beehive section of the CIAB-BOTANA an analysis of the pollen was used to measure the incidence of the domestic bee (Apis mellifera L) in the pollination of Physalis peruviana L. and in the field, the main pollinators were collected. A Langsthroth beehive with a 2 Kg colony of domestic bees was found to be the most efficient for pollinating inch hectare of Physalis peruviana L.
