Born globals: convenience of definition of determinants for a latin american country: Colombia

This study focuses on investigating the different characteristics of the Born Global companies in Colombia and their convergence with the determinants of an export company. As a methodological review, a data search is carried out in academic and scientific bases such as Scielo, Redalyc and Google Scholar; where in the first instance an approach to the cases reported in Colombia with the theme of Born Global is show, then it presents an approach from innovation and development, to culminate with the selection of determinants for business innovation in companies with international operation. As first results, it is evident that the Global Born Companies have a high correlation between business development and innovation in terms of one of the fundamental pillars based on the Oslo Manual, which deals with innovative, high-level products that comply with characteristics of the needs in the international market.
