Intenção empreendedora e dimensões culturais em alunos do Mestre da Administração na Colômbia

Resumo

O objetivo deste trabalho é estabelecer a dependência entre a intenção do negócio e as dimensões culturais dos estudantes de Mestrado em Administração (MBA) na Colômbia. A pesquisa é exploratória, quantitativa em foco e correlacional em escopo; Foram coletadas 485 pesquisas válidas em 36 programas de MBA presencial em 14 cidades. O referencial teórico são as dimensões culturais de Hofstede, enquanto duas variáveis ​​adicionais são tomadas: a facilidade de fazer negócios do Doing Business e a valorização do ambiente empreendedor do General Entrepreneurship Monitor. As conclusões indicam que as dimensões de Hofstede não explicam a intenção comercial dos estudantes de MBA na Colômbia. Ao mesmo tempo, estima-se que os habitantes das cidades de baixo PIB pressupõem que a atividade comercial seja realizada de forma associativa e que as normas sociais e as organizações culturais na Colômbia desempenham um papel aparentemente neutro em relação à referida intenção comercial.
