Abstract

Traditional aquaculture is going wrong; sometimes, it ignores side effects like pollutions, eutrophication; the introduction of chemical compounds on natural water is complicated every day. On the other hand, farming is based on the use of fertilizers and insecticides that produce deterioration in the ground and the environment, and it is accumulated on the land even in the water. That is why we need productive and sustainable alternatives that help in the conservation of the environment getting advantage of positive environmental impact. The aquaponics is being successful like an innovation system on organic productions for obtaining farming products whit out the using of the ground; these products could be fruits, vegetables and fish with excellent nutritional value and without discharge polluters where biological systems are fused Fishes, plants and nitrifying bacteria taking the nitrogen compounds by food waste and organic matter from aquaculture effluents. This presentation is made a review of the aquaponics system like a sustainable organic food production.
