Abstract

The research was performed in the experimental field of Obonuco, Fedepapa, Nariño, this Station is located at 2710 meters above sea level, for determining the response of broccoli Brassica olarecea var. Itálica L. Legacy hybrid during the application of N-P-K. The used design was of full blocks at random. Was evaluated with 150 kg ha -1 N ; 200 kg ha-1 P2O5 y 80 kg ha-1 of K2O in their different combinations as well as treatment without fertilization (absolute control) with a total of eight treatments with four repetitions. The fertilization with 150 kg ha -1 N +200 kg ha-1 P2O5 y 150 kg ha-1 N + 80 kg ha-1 of K2O, allowed the greatest in crease in the diameter of the pella with 15.82 centimeters and 14.40 centimeters, respectively, which presented statistical differences compared with the treatment without fertilization (0 kg ha-1 of N-P-K) the diameter of the pella was 11.05 centimeter. With the application of 150 kg ha -1 N + 200 kg ha-1 P2O5; 150 kg ha-1 N + 80 kg ha-1 of K2O and 150 kg ha-1 N +200 kg ha-1 P2O5 + 80 kg ha-1 of K2O, the greatest weight of pella was achieved with a mean of 505.97 and 401.24 g, which showed statistical differences compared with the treatment without fertilization with 200.34 g/ pella. The yielding (t ha-1), showed similar behavior to the increase in the weight the pella. The treatments in which N-P-K and P-K, were applied presented a rate of marginal return below 40%, and therefore were not economically viable.
