Abstract

To evaluate the time of use of the soil and the effect of the same envelope some physical properties in soils dedicated to the cane crop Saccharum officinarum, they took soil samples without disturbing in rings of steel of 5 diameter cm and 11 cm of long, to two depths. Later on, was determines the apparent density, the porosity and the total distribution of pores. In general, the obtained values of apparent density spread to diminish with lapsing of the years, likewise the porosity and total distribution, they are affected by the monoculture use in long periods of time.
