LA PLANIFICACION AMBIENTAL: UNA CONTRIBUCION PARA EL DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE

Resumo

El artículo resalta la importancia que tiene la planificación ambiental como instrumento para el desarrollo sostenible, destacando la relación sociedad - naturaleza, las necesidades productivas, la participación de la sociedad civil en procesos sociales, económicos y políticos. Por otra parte el proceso de ocupación del espacio físico, induciendo el aprovechamiento racional de la potencialidad de los recursos naturales existentes en áreas que poseen la capacidad apropiada.

ABSTRACT

The article emphasizes the importance of the environmental planning as an instrument for the sustainable development, emphasizing the society - nature relation, the productive necessities, the participation of the civil society in social, economic and politic processes. On the other hand, the process of occupation of the physical space, inducing the rational use of the potentiality of the existing natural resources in areas that have the appropriate capacity.
