About the Journal

The journal Hechos y Proyecciones del Lenguaje is a scientific journal of the University of Nariño, dedicated to the dissemination of research, theoretical reflections, and pedagogical experiences in the fields of linguistics, literature, pedagogy, psychology, sociology, and language sciences, with a special interest in language teaching and learning processes.

It is aimed at researchers, teachers, undergraduate and graduate students, and the academic community interested in issues related to the humanities and social sciences, both in local and international contexts. The journal accepts contributions in Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French.

Open Access Policy and APCs

All content is available immediately and free of charge to readers and institutions. The journal does not charge any fees for processing or publishing articles.

Copyright and Licensing.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. Articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows the work to be shared and adapted provided that appropriate credit is given.

Evaluation Process

The journal uses a double-blind peer review system, in which authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Each manuscript is initially evaluated by the editorial board and then by external reviewers who are experts in the field.

The journal is funded and published by the University of Nariño Press, which guarantees its sustainability and free access at no cost to authors or readers.
