Abstract

This research is oriented to use the
communicative approach as a tool which
allows the development of the linguistic and
communicative competences in English
among the students. We hope this approach
allows us to learn and to teach in a more
significant way and with a functional focus in
the language. besides, we will use this
approach as a possible solution to problems of
social and psychological character in the
students as violent behaviors, demotivation,
disinterest and under performance, which are
affecting directly the English subject among the students of the IEM Marco Fidel Suárez in
Pasto, Nariño
