LA GOBERNACIÓN DE NARIÑO: DEL CAOS TOTAL A LA SOSTENIBILIDAD ADMINISTRATIVA Y FINANCIERA

This article describes the process and results that allowed the Government of Nariño to recover from the administrative and financial chaos that it faced during the beginning of the twentieth-first century and obtain administrative and financial sustainability. The chaos was generated mainly for high bureaucracy levels and an inadequate financial management. To establish order in the government, the administration of 2001 implemented a series of judicial instruments of high economic impact. These decisions allowed more control to the lack of correspondence between incomes and expenditures of Nariño’s Government (La Gobernación de Nariño) as well as to rationalize the administrative processes and modernize the financial management.
