Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The paper has not been previously published nor has been submitted to any other journal for review (if there is a reviewing process currently undergoing by another journal or a similar case, please provide an explanation in the ‘notes for the editor’ section of the application).
• The file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word or RTF format.
• Whenever it is possible, please provide URLs links for the references.
• The text has a simple line spacing, a font size of 12 points, italics are used instead of underlining (except in URLs), and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed in the same part of the article as it should be printed, instead of in the end.
• The paper meets the styling and bibliographic conditions included in ‘Guidelines for the Author’, in the ‘About’ section of the journal.
• In the case of submitting the text to the peer reviewing section, follow the instructions included in ‘Ensuring an anonymous review’.
