Abstract

It is a matter of making a bief balance about what not only, the latin-American culture philosophy has meant so far for its own development, but also discuss which its challenges and perspectives are, taking into account that the global world and the non stop competence in order to get the cultural hegemony are against our global thought . This is why we believ that it is necessary to rethink some aspects about the debate and we propose challenges in order to avoid Latin-American Philosophy can only see either as a weak expression or as an expression taken from a group of anachronic ideas avoiding “modernization”.
