Abstract

In this text is developed and expanded part of the project: “Relations between history and literature”, work that led to see narrative, in the history and literature recent and postmodern, questioning the modernity certainties, both in the epistemological field, as in the demarcation of disciplinary territories and its aspirations of science.

The research project from which it derives this text was prompted by reading the book “I, French, Biographies and chronicles. The intervention in first person” by Jean Meyer, who concludes that the rules of historical narrative are not far of development of a novel set in the past. The expressed in the data is worked from interpretations that are open to the possibilities of meaning, which may or may not constitute an official view
