Abstract

This work aims to explore, analyze and elaborate the issue of social policy and its significance for social development. In doing so, inevitably also considers the relationships and implications of social policy with the State, attention to poverty strategies, processes of economic globalization, citizen participation, the metropolis and urban development and its implications for environmental policy.
