La Cooperación Interparlamentaria en América Latina

Abstract

The paper seeks to analyze the inter-parliamentary cooperation as an important mechanism in the process of globalization, not only because it guarantees the legal harmonization, otherwise because it is a medium of exchange of legislative experience leading to the improvement of national legislation and thus to the revaluation of the Parliament. To this effect has been analyzed, firstly the parliamentary dimension of regional integration, with the constitution with the constitution of organizations and regional parliamentary forums, as instruments of inter-parliamentary cooperation, and on the other hand inter-parliamentary cooperation between the regional Parliament and of these with national Parliaments and bilateral agreements, stressing support for the strengthening and improvement of the legislative work of national Parliaments.
