Abstract

The compaction of the soil that’s a factor limiting , into the growth and on production

from the cultures. The Objective of the work access the macroporosidade , the

microporosidade , the condutividade hydraulic em half saturated and the production

of material dried from the root of soy & caupi em response the indicates of compaction

(IC), into three soils : Neossolo Quartzarénico NQ Latossolo red distrófico LVd and

Latossolo red - yellow distroférrico LVAdf ). She determined - if em laboratory the

density maximum for each soil , by using the tryout of Proctor. The index of compaction

was defined by relation among the density of the soil and the density maximum of

Proctor. Such the worked if with six indexes of compaction (0,77, 082, 0,86, 0,89, 0,92

and 0,97). The samples soil have been of soil superficial (0 – 20 cm) to laboratory and

greenhouse in this last, was of tests the way radicular of soybean and caupi. The

tracing experimental was in blocks contingent, into three repetitions, corresponding to

a arrangement factorial (3 soils x 6 IC); the results was adjusted in different models of

regression. Have been certify differences on susceptibility on the compaction, looking a

sizeable reduction from macroporosidade and condutividade hydraulic in compactor

of the soil NQ compared with the soils LVd and LVAdf. The NQ soil limited most

serverely the penetration radicular from the plants and the material dried production.

The LVAdf presented the smaller restriction to penetration from the root and of

material dried production on the six indexes of compaction. The culture of the caupi

was more sensitive on the compaction, confine your development radicular and of

material dried production.
