Abstract

In recent years, learning a second language has become a great need for the
human being since day by day we are faced with a globalized world that requires
us to know another language. This need has become for many people a great
challenge which generates in them an anxious feeling that prevents them from
learning easily.

For this reason that through this document I try to explain what anxiety is and
how it intervenes in the learning of a second language as well as what are the
causes that generate it and the role that the teacher can play when this factor
presents itself.
