Abstract

It considers the contents of present world crisis, which is understood as a normal event in the cyclic movement of the capitalist system, rather than a particular financial crisis. Economic crisis are inherent to the system, but not to Economics per se. It shows that 1929-1933 case was a different type of crisis, with other characteristics from its beginning and other development; at the end of the cycle, capital is mainly financial. It accepts the thesis that cyclic crisis have objective causes which make them unavoidable; therefore, there is only one alternative which is the search of another way to organize society and production: the goal should be the satisfaction of community needs instead of the searching of profitability.
