The advent of free online courses has radically transformed access to education, democratizing knowledge and providing unprecedented opportunities for learners around the world. However, mere access to these resources does not guarantee that they will be taken advantage of. In this context, the role of the teacher becomes fundamental as a guide and facilitator in the teaching-learning process. The teacher, far from being a mere transmitter of information, must act as a leader who promotes inclusive, equitable and quality education, effectively integrating online courses into pedagogical activities. This article analyzes the advantages of these courses and the importance of the teacher's work in their correct implementation, highlighting the need for constant accompaniment to ensure autonomous and responsible learning.
