Carga biomecânica e sintomas musculoesqueléticos em profissionais de saúde de duas instituições de saúde, Colômbia, 2024

Resumo

Introdução: Os distúrbios musculoesqueléticos afetam significativamente a população economicamente ativa e são as principais causas de absenteísmo no setor da saúde. 

Objetivo: Analisar a relação entre a carga biomecânica e os sintomas, detalhando o uso do método de Avaliação de Risco Individual (ERIN) e do questionário nórdico. 

Materiais e métodos: Este foi um estudo transversal correlacional com uma amostra não probabilística de 272 trabalhadores de duas instituições de saúde em Bogotá e Valledupar. Após a obtenção do consentimento informado, foram aplicados um questionário sociodemográfico e o Questionário Nórdico de Sintomas Musculoesqueléticos, e a carga biomecânica foi avaliada utilizando o método de Avaliação de Risco Individual (ERIN). Análises descritivas, bivariadas e correlacionais foram realizadas utilizando o SPSS versão 29. 

Resultados: A análise correlacional mostrou que as mulheres apresentaram maior prevalência de relatos de sintomas no pescoço (r = 0,140, p ≤ 0,05), ombro direito (r = 0,163, p ≤ 0,01), cotovelo direito (r = 0,138, p ≤ 0,05), punho direito (r = 0,130; p ≤ 0,01) e parte superior das costas (r = 0,200, p ≤ 0,01); o alto risco biomecânico correlacionou-se com sintomas no ombro esquerdo (r = 0,149, p ≤ 0,05) e no cotovelo direito (r = 0,135, p ≤ 0,05). 

Conclusaõ: Observou-se maior prevalência de sintomas musculoesqueléticos em mulheres, relacionados à carga postural, frequência e repetitividade dos movimentos, bem como ao nível de ocupação.
