Abstract

The prsent work called health at work was carried out through a theoretical review. A selection, organization, systematization and analysis of a collection of electronic documents and texts to understand this topíc was made. Nowadays, organizations give an important place to their employees, since they are a source of competitive advantage. A means to achieve this is to maintain optimal levels of health; the challenge is to promote healthy organizations that generate welfare and quality of working life. From that outlook, the importance of occupational health and productivity of the organization are shown, the concepts of human being in the organization and health promotion in the workplace, occupational health legislation are addressed, and also the role of organizational psychologist from the Psychology PSO occupational health and psychosocial risk instruments that assess psychosocial risk are approached.
