Mujeres latinoamericanas su inserción en los estudios superiores y en el campo de la investigación científica.

Abstract

Este artículo  ofrece un panorama de la inserción de la mujer latinoamericana en los estudios superiores y  en la investigación científica con la intención de mostrar que si  bien ella ha recorrido  a lo  largo  del siglo XX un dificultoso camino, todavía hay obstáculos que impiden un desempeño igualitario  con el  hombre. Por tener documentación de primera mano referida a la situación de las mujeres universitarias argentinas, haremos hincapié en ella y  particularmente usaremos los datos estadísticas de la Universidad de Córdoba, los que por otra parte son válidos para otras casas de altos estudios del país.

ABSTRACT

This article offers a panorama of the enrollment of Latin American women in tertiary studies and in scientific research with the intention of showing that in stipe of the fact that they have walked a difficult path throughout he 20^th century, there still remain obstacles that prevent them from playing an equal role to that of man. Due to the availability of firsthand documentation, the situation of Argentinian university women will be emphasized. To this end, we will particularly use the statistical data of the University of Córdoba, which is also valid for other institutions education of the country.
