Approach to the interweaving method for research in educational fields

Abstract

Reference will be made to the research methodology in teacher training expressing a methodological proposal called “braiding or intertwining” from Wittgenstein in Philosophical Research. Thus, the consistency of the argument does not lie in the fact that a generic approach runs through the entire discourse ... "but in the fact that many fibers overlap" (67 b). Therefore, it is not disputed that there is something in common to all these argumentative structures, but what the reader must simply detect is that “… there is something that runs through the entire thread- namely, the continuous superposition of these fibers-” (67 c). This overlap is what will give consistency to the approach proposed here. It would not be necessary to look at the threads, as he says before, taking into account this analogy, but rather at the continuous superposition of the fibers. It is the superposition, not so much the thread that is needed to carry out a hermeneutic or an interpretation in the investigative exercise. The overlap in this braiding can be considered as actions, acts, stories, in references to other situations, in arguments, in perceptions, in pedagogical relationships, etc. It is not looking so much that there is a common thread in the development of the language of expressions, which can even be taken for granted, it is paying attention to what is superimposed between word and word, it is like visualizing what is invisible that is manifested and that it must be welcomed. It is necessary to untangle the conceptual knots that we have taken for true as a result of believing the metaphors of natural language to be true.
